Welcome to a story of a Dutch girl who loves writing.
It all started in elementary school, when one of my teachers gave me a small blue notebook and told me I could write down my feelings in it every day. Especially on the days I felt sad, writing became my safe place. A quiet space where everything inside of me could land for a moment. Where things started to make sense again.
Feeling deeply has always been part of who I am. And in many ways, it still is. On heavy days, I still return to words. To make sense of what is going on inside, to give it a place, to soften it a little. Words help me see clearly. They help me hold on, and gently let go. Because finding the right words has always come naturally to me, I started Sea Me Studio for people who feel deeply connected to what they do, but struggle to put it into words.
And then there is the sea. The place where I can breathe. Where time slows down. Where inspiration starts to move again. I fell in love with the sea when I lived in Sydney, Australia for a while. I lived only fifteen minutes away from Rose Bay, a place that felt almost unreal to me. There were wagging tails, laughing people and a kind of peace I had never felt before. That feeling stayed with me.
And it is something I now carry into my work too: calm, depth, movement, and space for what wants to be said. Because words have never been just words to me. They are a mirror, a feeling and a story waiting to unfold.
